Professional Summary Description: PhD in Dentistry, Professor of Higher Education, with two Higher Education Certificates from Paris V, Amal El Ouazzani also has a University Diploma in Health Economics and Professional Organization in Marseilles, France and followed a training in Mastery of health Sciences Pedagogy in Paris XII.
After being head of Conservatory Odontology Department in University Hospital, she has been Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry since 2005 and has conceived and realized Odontological Studies Reform in the Faculty.. She also engaged her institution for evaluation/accreditation with WFMS/WHO and in 2008 the Faculty of Dentistry got the ISO Certification.
More recently, Amal El Ouazzani has had many opportunities to represent Morocco and her institution in many missions abroad where she established many contacts and negotiated many partnerships. She also took part in many assemblies, organizations and international associations, namely, WHO as an expert, the International Conference of Deans of Faculties of Dentistry, partially or totally French-speaking, of which she was Vice-President (2005-2009) and President since 2009, and University Agency of Francophony of which she has been member of the Scientific Board since 2007. She is also member of Board and Scientific Board, namely, the International Francophone Society for Medical Studies. She is also member of the Executive Committee in the Conference of Arab Deans of the faculties of Dentistry and member of the Regional Committee (Maghreb/Middle-East) in Quality Assurance.
