Postponement of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN) 2020 Academic Conference (AAC) and Annual General Meeting (AGM)

This is to inform all delegates who have registered for APQN 2020 AAC and AGM for the theme of “Higher Education 4.0 in the Asia-Pacific Region” to be held on 16th to 19th April 2020 in Singapore, will be postponed to 25th to 28th March 2021 in Singapore due the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019).

Since Jan 2020, the Singapore Government has implemented a series of measures to reduce the risk of imported cases and community transmission of the COVID-19. Although, Singapore have strengthened these measures progressively as the situation escalated in Singapore, and have been able to contain the spread of the virus, both the Local Organizing Committee and APQN Board think it is too risky and uncertain to hold 2020 AAC as scheduled. After the careful consultations and discussions, we (the local organizer and APQN Board) have decided that for the safety and health risk concern in organizing a large scale event, it is best to postpone the event.

We are aware that this may cause inconvenience to travel plans, and your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Those who have paid for the conference fees, the fees will be valid for the 2021 AAC, so will the submitted papers.

If you have questions, please contact APQN Secretariat (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and local organizer, EDUVALUE (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). We look forward to seeing you on 25th to 28th March 2021, Singapore

Please look out for our future communication on 2021 AAC from APQN and the Local Organizing Committee.

We wish you great health and take care.

Sincerely,

APQN Board and the Local Organizing Committee
