Mr BS Ponmudiraj
Mr BS Ponmudiraj is currently the Assistant Adviser (Academic) with the National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC), India. He takes care of the Internal Quality Assurance Cells (IQAC) in higher educational institutions and second cycle of assessment and accreditation viz., reaccreditation in the agency. His area of specialization is Development Statistics. As a Lecturer in Statistics and Computer Science, he has been teaching in Christ College, Bangalore and Loyola College, Chennai. He has 14 years of teaching and educational administrative experience. His special interests are training of assessors for quality assurance and quality literacy. He has published papers in international and national journals and also articles in books. He also presented papers in international and national seminars and conferences. He has visited more than 200 higher educational institutions in India for academic purposes. He is also a trained assessor for Confederation of Indian Industry – Export Import Bank of India Business Excellence Model (CII-EXIM-BEM) based on European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and TATA Educational Excellence Model (TEEM) based on Malcolm Baldridge Educational Excellence Model. He has visited the UK, Vietnam and Bangladesh to attend workshops and seminars on external review for higher education.
