Dr Judy Forsyth
Dr Judy Forsyth has held the position of Executive Officer to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Advisory Board since its inception in 1995. The AQF Advisory Board is responsible for promoting, monitoring and reviewing the AQF, implementation of which is devolved across the sectors and the States and Territories. AQFAB has a Charter from the national federated council of education ministers (MCEETYA) and advises the Council on matters surrounding qualifications pathways in upper secondary schooling, vocational education and training and higher education. Dr Forsyth’s previous position was assistant secretary in the MCEETYA Secretariat, and prior to that she has raised two children and worked in the university sector while completing a PhD, having begun her professional career as a secondary school teacher.
