Dr Nuanthip is a representative of the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA) (Public organization), Thailand. She is an Associate Professor in biochemistry department, faculty of medicine, Chulalongkorn University. She has been appointed an assessor for Thailand Quality Award (TQA), since 2004. She is also a reviewer and commentator of Standards and Criteria of National Nursing Quality Award, Ministry of Health, Thailand.
For slightly more than two years, Dr Nuanthip was an assistant to the President for Research Affairs of Chulalongkorn University, which was responsible for all research activity administration, research funding from government, university, national granting agencies, and international granting agencies. During this time she has been strongly engaged in setting Chulalongkorn University Quality System, CU-QA 84, which has since been implemented in every faculty, college, research institution, and working unit of Chulalongkorn University (all over unit in CU). This quality system has been one of the basic models for other universities in Thailand. She had contributed in setting AUN quality standards. She has engaged in settling Asia Research Center at Chulalongkorn University supported by Korea Foundation for Advance Studies (KFAS), and still being a member of managing committee since then. She contributed a great deal on collaboration with the Asahi Glass Foundation of Japan on managing research grant and conducting annual conference.
Dr Nuanthip has continuously engaged in developing educational quality system of higher education institution for more than 10 years. She has rich experiences in constructing indicators and criteria of quality assessment of higher education institution of Thailand, in assessor training and assessment process training. She has been appointed a national external quality assessor of higher education.
She is at present very much involved with the education quality system of higher education in Thailand. She is a committee and a team leader of monitoring and evaluating universities performance of the fiscal year 2006 and 2007, which is cooperated by ONESQA and the Office of the public sector development commission, Thailand (OPDC), according to the good governance policy. She has been active in extension quality system work in science and mathematics emphasis schools.
